An email or text will come through from a company called "FRESHA". This is the online booking system. It will ask you to create an account and ask you to confirm your booking.
It will ask to pop in card details to secure the booking. I do not take a deposit, but the card will be held on the account.
Email reminders will be sent 48 hours prior appointment
Text messages reminders are sent 24 hours prior appointment
Returning clients will get a text or email asking to confirm their next appointment. Failing to do so may result in the appointment being cancelled.
Any appointments booked via FRESHA will be charged a booking fee which I get charged. If you see an appointment you would like to book, email, call or message on social media. Responses are quick and can avoid charges.
If you are more than 20 mins late, I may not be able to perform the full treatment.
If you are more than 30 mins late, without contact, I will assume that you will not be arriving for you appointment and mark it as a "No Show".
Cancellations within 48-24houts will be charged 50%. This can be waived if the appointment is rescheduled. If it is rescheduled again, payment will be taken.
Cancellations under 24 hours will be charged 100% of the booking. A new booking will not be made until payment is complete.
"No Show" appointments
Failing to arrive for your appointment will incur 100% of the treatment cost. This will be charged against the card on your account. If the no show appointment was over 1.5 hours a deposit will be requested to secure the booking. Again, if the payment cannot be received from the card on file, another appointment will not be booked/all other appointments cancelled until payment is received.
Change of mind
If you have booked a few treatments together and decide you want to cancel one or more treatments, a minimum of 48hours notice must be given. If you decide the night before or at the time of your treatment, you will still be charged. This is to follow the cancellation policy.
Please understand this can take appointment time for other appointments, especially late night or saturday appointments.
Children in the salon
Unfortunately, The Beauty Lady will no longer be able to accept children in the salon under 12, unless they are having a treatment.
The salon insurance does not cover any accidents - if they fall over or touch any chemicals.
Clients will be turned away if they turn up with children, cancellation charges will still apply.
Wedding / Hen / Mobile bookings
Any large booking and/or mobile appointment must pay 50% booking fee at the time of booking to secure the appointment. If the fee is not received within 24 hours the booking will be cancelled.
The remaining balance must be paid when the booking is finished, either bank transfer, cash or card. This is to be agreed upon 24 hours prior treatments.
Wedding bookings must pay the remainder balance minimum 24 hours before booking to avoid stressful times on your wedding day.
